Our program supports the mental health needs of individuals, children and families by providing strength-based therapies to achieve stability and increase connections among themselves and their environment. Facilitator/Coordinator position description Addis Synergy Family Services is a registered not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support the health and wellness of ethnocultural communities by providing family-centric, culturally responsive, language specific mental health programs and family support services. Its vision is to create Healthy, thriving, vibrant and economically stable multicultural community Service description We are seeking a dynamic, skilled, experienced and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Coordinator/facilitator within our organization. The Coordinator/Facilitator will be responsible for supporting various administrative and operational functions, ensuring the efficient flow of operations and contributing to the overall success of our team. Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills are essential to be successful in this role Mandatory requirements -Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check completed within the last 6 months, applied for prior to position start date -Child Welfare Intervention Record Check completed within the last 6 months, applied for prior to position start date Attributes: -Strong interpersonal skills to help establish good working relationships with everyone -Ability to establish clear boundaries and be sensitive to individuals -Ability to problem solve with a non-confrontational approach -Reliable and flexible availability -Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented -Strong knowledge of Canva, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat -Bilingualism English/French is an asset Key Responsibilities: -Assist in the coordination and scheduling of meetings, appointments, and events for team members and stakeholders. -Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, directing communications appropriately and providing timely responses. -Support the development and dissemination of internal communications, announcements. -Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for meetings and presentations. -Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by management. -Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets. -Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables, and report on status to relevant stakeholders. -Coordinate the collection, organization, and dissemination of project-related documentation and resources. -Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve issues or obstacles that may impact project timelines or outcomes. -Support the leadership and team members in executing project tasks and activities as needed. -Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project activities, expenses, and resources. -Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness What to Expect: -Training – comprehensive onboarding/orientation process -Feedback – a strong supervision model that provides regular formal and informal opportunities for feedback -Performance coaching – formal and informal coaching regarding the development of personal and professional growth and development.
